Fire Retardant Commercial Roller Blinds
Commercial-grade roller blind systems designed to improve light control, enhance workspace comfort and complement a modern creative environment.
Problem
The refurbished workspace featured large glazed areas that created issues with glare, solar exposure, and user comfort across studio and co-working spaces. The project also required durable blind systems that suited the commercial environment and complemented the interior design.
Solution
We designed and installed a bespoke fire-retardant roller blind system using carefully selected light-filtering fabrics to reduce glare while maintaining natural daylight. Premium Louvolite® and Benthin® hardware systems were specified to ensure long-term performance across all glazing sizes and workspace requirements.
Scope of Work
Our team completed the following:
32 x Fire Retardant Roller Blinds
Made-to-measure commercial roller blinds installed across studio units and communal workspaces.
Louvolite® & Benthin® Hardware Systems
Combination of System 40 and heavy-duty Benthin® systems specified for varying blind sizes and applications.
Light-Filtering Commercial Fabrics
Carefully selected fabrics providing balanced daylight control and glare reduction throughout the workspace.
Commercial Safety Features
Metal control chains and child safety cleats installed in accordance with current safety standards.
Consultation & Construction Coordination
Our involvement during the construction phase ensured all systems were fully coordinated before installation commenced.
Detailed Site Surveys
Comprehensive measurements and technical assessments completed across all studio spaces.
Structural Support Planning
Guidance provided on fixing locations and support requirements for large-format blinds.
Fire Retardant Compliance
All fabrics specified in accordance with recognised UK commercial fire safety standards, including BS 5867 Part 2 Type B.
