Problem
The client required a luxury motorised shading solution with seamless smart home integration, including layered sheer and blackout curtain systems in key areas of the property. The project also required close coordination with contractors and AV specialists to ensure all automation and electrical requirements were integrated correctly during construction.
Solution
We supplied and installed a bespoke Somfy® automated curtain and Roman blind system tailored to the property’s design and functionality needs. The system included layered curtain tracks for independent light and privacy control and was fully integrated with the property’s Control4 smart home system for smooth and reliable operation.
Scope of Work

8 x Somfy® Glydea RTS Mains Powered Curtain Tracks
Including layered sheer and blackout curtain systems in the dining room, master bedroom and guest living room.
Bespoke Pinch Pleat Curtains
Custom-made sheer and blackout curtains designed to complement the luxury interior aesthetic.
16 x Somfy® Sonesse 40 RTS Roman Blinds
Motorised Roman blinds installed using a combination of sheer and blackout fabrics for precise light control.
5 x Manual Roman Blinds
Installed in selected areas where motorisation was not required while maintaining visual consistency across the property.
Consultation & Contractor Coordination
We worked closely with the contractor and AV specialists during the planning and construction stages to ensure all systems were prepared for seamless integration.
Electrical Spurs Positioning
Power supplies accurately positioned for all motorised curtain tracks and blinds.
First Fix & Ceiling Reinforcement
