Somfy® Motorised Lantern Blinds
Bespoke motorised lantern blind systems designed to enhance comfort, reduce solar gain and integrate seamlessly within a luxury architectural residence.
Problem
The property’s roof lights, lanterns, and overhead glazing were causing excessive heat gain, glare, and reduced comfort in key areas such as the gym, pool, and dining space. The client also required discreet motorised shading systems that would preserve the clean architectural design of the property.
Solution
We designed and installed bespoke Somfy® motorised lantern blind systems tailored to each glazing feature using premium cellular fabrics for improved thermal performance and glare reduction. A custom solution was also created for the large octagonal dining lantern, allowing symmetrical blind operation while maintaining the space’s architectural integrity.
