Commercial Solar Control Blinds
High-performance solar control blinds designed to improve comfort, reduce glare and enhance learning environments across a busy educational facility.
Problem
The education centre was facing issues with excessive heat, screen glare, and poor UV protection due to ineffective existing blinds. Large glazed areas increased solar gain, creating uncomfortable learning environments, especially in classrooms using computers and display screens.
Solution
We carried out a full site survey and installed a commercial roller blind system using Louvolite® AluView® Perspective 3% screen fabric. The new solution improved glare reduction, solar control, and UV protection while maintaining natural daylight, creating a more comfortable and productive learning environment.
Scope of Work
Our team completed the following:
20 x Commercial Roller Blinds
Replacement of large-format roller blinds across multiple classrooms and teaching spaces.
Louvolite® AluView® Perspective 3% Screen Fabric
High-performance solar control fabric designed to reduce glare, solar gain and UV exposure.
Benthin® Premium Hardware Systems
Heavy-duty commercial hardware specified to ensure long-term durability and reliable operation.
Fire Retardant Blind Systems
All blinds manufactured using compliant fire retardant fabrics suitable for educational environments.
Survey, Specification & Compliance
We conducted a comprehensive site survey and worked closely with the education facility to identify the most effective long-term shading solution.
